This park is right next to the water. You'll get nice views out towards the statue of liberty and there's plenty if benches if you want to sit down, relax and take in the surroundings. There's a boat ride that leaves from right next to the park and it's just around the corner from the Staten Island ferry terminal.

This place has a nice walk, but is home to a lot of vagrants and annoying people trying to sell you a bunch of junk you dont need. Obviously, the view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island is good.

We started out walking on a Friday night at the Irish Heritage site in front of the Conrad. We walked to the Ferry launch. It took 30-45 minutes, perhaps more because I needed to stop and look across the water or up at the buildings. It was romantic and safe, there were many strolling. Along the way, there were a... Great place to walk and enjoy the view – particularly as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are shut due to damage by Hurricane Sandy.

I love walking this area around sunset - the best free show in the City. The Winter Garden, World Financial Centre, WTC and the yacht club provide and amazing backdrop for this site. Walk along the river and watch the ferries ply the waters of the Hudson. A vibrant place.

This is a wonderful place to go with family and enjoy a good pinic. They have activities for everyone. You get to meet people from all over.

This was being renovated at the time of visit - I will try again at a later date.Normally there are plenty of dog walkers in this park, located close to the Ferry in downtown Manhattan

We found this park by accident and were so pleased that we did. It was a breath of fresh air with views of the river.

Nice open space by the river where the statue of liberty cruises depart from. Couple of monuments & a cafe as well. Suprised to see dozens of homeless people. Near to 9/11 memorial site.

Our senior class walked though some of the park to get to the loading area to head to Ellis Island. What was really enjoyable was this street performer. He seemed like a nice guy he had a little guitar and sung about one of the kids in our class. He made it up as he went and it was good... More
