We were on a short trip to Little Rock and wanted to do something outdoors and this was perfect. We drove out to the dam area, where there's plenty of parking, and walked across the dam. My family and I have been here several times, we were on the North side, walked across the Dam and up to the Park where the Island is. The trail actually runs several miles in each direction. Excellent for hiking and biking. If you're hiking be sure to watch out for the bikes, though.

It's free so take a stroll along and see it. It's a fantastic construction with great views with great photographic opportunities.

Nice views, and when the cyclers are not out in force, it is a great place to do your walking, jogging, or even running. The bridge also has stopping points for those who need to pause and take a breath or even sit down. Beautiful views at sunrise and sunset!

We walked almost all the way across the bridge and back. It is a great walk, When we were there, there were pelicans on the water. It is an easy walk, even the ramps aren't bad. What a great addition to Little Rock.

Being from NJ, it's hard to imagine a town would build this - it must have cost quite a bit - just for people to enjoy. Amazing. Although a bit off the beaten path, I was glad we made the tip. It was beautiful lit up at night, and provided some great photo ops. Got some exercise walking as well.

We were visiting Little Rock to see the Clinton Library and Museum and went out of our way to take a look at the Big Dam Bridge---great name! Very unusual construction and it almost made me want to go find a bike to ride across the Arkansas River.
