I enjoyed it because you can pick an easy route or a more difficult one depending on how good you are at riding a bike.

Love this place - I compare everything to it. Great maintained trails - nothing easy - all intermediate. Full Suspension or Nothing! Hardtails not recommended. Rent a bike for best results unless you are sporting a $3000 downhill bike of your own.
Lots of trails with varying difficulty levels. Our favorite run was from the midway gondola, Recoil trail to Twilight Zone. The pavers laid on the trail were like nothing we've ridden before. The jumps weren't too big, but challenging to clear and the wooden slat banked bridges and ladders were new features that were super fun to ride. Also liked...

New to downhill Mountain Biking, I was very hesitant to go all the way up to the top of the mountain to bike down. The only green runs available were lower down in the Discovery Zone or Downtown which took you back to the lodge to be shuttled up. That was very fun, but I would've liked to explore the...

I have been skiing here since 1972. First time we went up in summer. My 10-year-old and I brought our own bikes. Only Chair 11 is suitable for kids/teens and adults who aren't X-Game champs! We loved the trails on Chair 11 but it got boring after a while. I wish there was much more terrain/trails for us. The rest...

My son had been begging to mountain bike so we decided to try it and loved it!! We did the easy route down the mountain that ended at The Village. It was great for kids, families and beginners. They even had a drink station midway down which provided a nice break. The only downfall was the price. It was pricey...

I grew up on a Schwinn Sting-Ray doing all kinds of wild stupid stunts, but at 51 without any recent off-road biking experience I wasn't too confident in my ability to handle this Bike-Park thing. I gotta tell ya, my 21 year-old son and I had a blast!
We took the chair lift up to the discovery trails to warm...

I was nervous about trying Off the Top trail from the top of Mammoth mountain because I'm a little freaked out by heights. The elevation is 11000 feet and the thought of mountain bike trails on the side of a mountain seemed daunting. We tried it nonetheless and found it very doable. I'd say we are beginning to intermediate riders...

The bike park has an incredible amount of very varied terrain. Mammoth Mountain is just as scenic in the summer as it is in the winter, so there is lots of natural beauty to look at. If you need any services, the people working at the bike park are knowledgable and friendly.
We are a family of four - spanning the range of mountain biking ability. Mammoth Mountain has trails for us all! The trails are well maintained. We could not believe the efforts of the trail crew this summer to open trails after the late snow. Thanks! The more experienced of our group love all the berms, jumps and wall rides...
