Although old enough to have been started before America, it still has luster. Lot's of bright people, good contribution to the region's vitality. I went there for two grad schools.

Both of my now-grown children graduated from Penn, so I have been on-campus numerous times. As urban campuses go, it is very pretty despite the inharmonious (to me) architecture. A walk around the campus is fun on a nice day since there are interesting historic locations all over.

This is a world class university. The architecture and public spaces are stunning. Well worth a walk through...the trees and gardens are exceptional.

They really go all out for alumni, with many free events throughout the campus. Alumni or not, there are many attractions to this beautiful historic urban campus. Lots of green space and quads, a great bookstore, several art galleries with both traveling world class exhibitions, and in house collections. Visit the Arthur Ross gallery, the Institute for Contemporary Art, and... More

This exhibition is great with many pieces that were discovered by a dig team from the university including the central item a Sphinx. There are also a number of original columns from a temple plus many other items including mummies. We had a professor give us a tour and while he gave us a great deal of information it could... More

The visitor to Penn's campus can see art, music, specialty programs, and theater. There is shopping, lectures, demonstrations, and fine architecture. One can also get a fine education there in numerous fields but at a very great price.
