This was very moving, we walked through on our own, no tour. The cemetary and everything in this town are well preserved. I was humbled by the many unmarked graves and being in the spot where Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. This town is a must see for all Americans.

Being the wife and daughter of veterans, I visit these type places with a strong feeling of gratitude and respect for those who gave their lives to make mine better. Grounds were extremely well kept. Monuments are beautiful and well maintained. Nice place for a leisurely walk with loved ones.

We just loved strolling around this cemetary. You get such emotion from seeing so many that died in the battle. So much history and just very peaceful

Great place to take a walk and see the nice grounds and see all the graves of the people that gave all to this great country. Cool to see where Lincoln gave his speech.

The cemetery is beautiful, quiet, and well maintained. And who wouldn't want to be able to say they actually stood where Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address? It's an easy walk around so take the time.

Beautiful, somber place, plus you can stand where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. The sheer scale of the graves is quite overwhelming.

A very moving place to visit as it encompassed not only the Civil War graves but also the place of the famous Gettysburg Address

it was very moving to walk among the war hero graves and arrive at the spot where Lincoln stood to give his famous speech. If you are looking for that place, walk to the "back" of the cemetery to the large statue. We had trouble locating it.

We have served in the military and have a great respect for those who have also served, especially those who have given their all for others. Military cemeteries are one of our favorite and most sacred places on this earth. The Soldiers National Cemetery at Gettysburg where Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address is no exception. We have a feeling... More
