We went there on the last minute and loved it. Learned so much about how Girl Scouts started and about Juliette's family and how she decided to start GS.
A little disappointed that the entire house was covered in scaffolding as it was being renovated, but a great lesson on th efounder of Girl Scouts USA
What amazed me the most is how talented Juliette Low was. Her sculptures, wood carving, and other artwork were lovely and exhibited her skills and self-confidence. I also appreciated perusing her library collection.
The entire outside structure is being renovated right now and hopefully will be completed sometime in 2013. The inside is still able to tour and was excellent to see the time period of when Juliette was born. The docents were very knowledgeable.

My girls loved the JGL birthplace, but were disappointed to not be able to touch anything. They were very impressed by all the artwork filling the house that was done by JGL. Thank you for the kind tour guides - so sweet to my troop.
It was great to learn about her childhood in this home, but what was more interesting was to learn of her artist skills. There are multiple sculptures and paintings throughout the home done by Juliette.
It was somewhat interesting to hear about Daisy but there was nothing special about the displays. It was her childhood home, not the place where she founded the Girl Scouts and many items came from other places she lived. The building is under scaffolding and the garden not showing its best. It will probably make a world of difference when...

I'm a girl scout, so how could I not go to the birthplace of the founder? This is actually where Juliette started scouting in America. An interesting story even if you are not a scout. Bonus - Juliette was an accomplished artist and her work is on display here.
