My wife and I went here and the food and service here was really good. Make reservations though because the place tends to fill up pretty fast for dinner

It was the highlight of our visit to Savanah, friendly staff, great food and cozy ambience. Must visit while in Savanah.

It is hard to review a restaurant when you are being catered to. All the food was great, service very good. The place is historic. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Everything I have ever eaten in this restaurant has been amazing. I make special trips to Savannah to eat here from across the nation. Amazing ambiance as well.

I went realizing that the food was probably quite good. What I didn't realize was that the food, service and the atmosphere were actually exceptional. I have been to many fine restaurants and this tops my one on service. They anticipated my needs and questions before I even knew what they might be. The waiter even advised me to 'try... More

This is a very nice restaurant that encourages you to walk through all the rooms of the house after you have had dinner in one of their many lovely dining rooms. The service is top notch and the staff are very well versed in the history of the building and are happy to share that history with their guests. We had... More

We were warmly greeted the moment we steps in the house. Brian our waiter gave us great dinner recommendations. You must try the grits and shrimp, even if you don't like grits. The shank is fall of the bone good but beware, enough for two if you add a salad. Make sure you tour the house before you leave! The... More

The bar in the cellar is one of my favorites in the country. You feel like you went back in time in this dark candle lit room with live piano music and great cocktails. Upstairs in the restaurant you will enjoy a fantastic meal and first class service. I do not ever see myself making a trip to Savannah without... More

We had dinner here and although the food was good, it was overpriced. There are several other really nice places to eat in Savannah that are much more reasonable. I ordered the NY Strip and a cup of the she crab soup. The soup was very good and the steak was cooked perfectly but the low lighting did not allow... More

Historical reasons alone make the restaurant worth a visit. We chose to eat outside, which in hindsight was not a good idea as I was competing with bugs for my food. If you are out for a special night, eat inside, but if you are just interested in the food, go to the tavern downstairs. BLT salad is soooo good.
