If you hate the traffic you must use the trolley. It is reasonably priced and easy to catch, plenty of trolley stops all around town.

we took trolley from free park and ride at city hall most days and even took the rather long ride to national park where the driver stopped several times for patrons to get out for photo opportunities which was great.

The trolley is great to have instead of driving all over. Very inexpensive. Only drawback is if your in a hurry this isnt for you. But we like it!

We were to take the purple trolley from our motel to the Aquarium at traffic light 5. The pink trolley stopped and said it would be a while before the purple one arrived and offered to take us to the Aquarium for the purple trolley fare. We gladly accepted.. Our first experience with the Gatlinburg Trolley related to our participation in the synchronous firefly display on June 5, 2013 -- Gatlinburg Trolley was responsible for getting viewers from the Sugarlands Vistor Center to the Elkmont Campground and back.

While this is a convenient way to get from Gatlinburg to Dollywood and the price is only $1.00 per person each way, I was not happy with our experience. Our driver drove recklessly and you are on the highway for a period of time. There are no seatbelts and we had five children under the age of 10 with us....

Parking in Gatlinburg can sometimes be a pain so it's nice to have the option of riding the Trolley. It takes you everywhere you want to go for a more than reasonable price!!!

The strip in Gatlinburg is quiet crowded with traffice. Parking is sparse. I highly recommend taking the Trolley as opposeed to driving and trying to find a parking space in the town area.

The Trolley will get you all around Gatlinburg, without having to search for parking, or pay the $5-$10 dollar rates. A great bargain at 50 cents a person, or $2.00 for all day. We stay at the top of Historic Nature Trail, and it is a LOT better than trying to walk uphill after a meal, or in the heat...
