We've had a family membership at MCM since our son was a toddler. Lots of fun and interactive things to do. Really appreciate the separate area for younger kids as the other play spaces get pretty wild when the museum is busy. We also like that there's a "chill out room" for parents and babies who need a milk break.... More

I have great memories coming here when I was little, and couldn't wait to see the new location! My friend and I took her daughter and it was an amazing experience. Everything is just as much fun as I remembered, with some fabulous new updates of course. An awesome place for both kids and adults, and parking is right across... More

I recently took three of my grandkids ages 2,4 and 7 to this museum. It was my first time but had been told very good things about it. It was a pleasure to find out that the good things were true. There was a lot of hands on activities for each age group and wasn't too crowded to feel overwhelmed.... More

We took our grandchildren to the Madison Children's museum during Spring break and efven with the crowds it was wonderful. All the activities and displays were accessable to a seven year old and four year old and each was prefectly appointed to allow as much space as possible. I would highly reccomend this along with a walk over to the... More

As children's museums go it had everything I've come to expect at one. It was much smaller and compact that I was anticipating. It was a Saturday that we visited and I'm sure that the crowd made it seem even smaller and more compact. The parking ramp connected with the museum is not worth the effort to even drive in... More

We visited the Madison Children's Museum in the winter, so the cabin and rooftop space were not open. The rest of the museum was wonderful. There are play spaces for kids 5 and under (even with a small space designed for crawling babies as well as a slightly private area for mothers who need to nurse) and a play space... More

Went to the Madison Children's Museum for the first time with our 3 and 6 year old grandkids. There was so much to see and do. From playing in a dinosaur's back bones, seeing baby quails, ice skating on the roof, and making flowers from duct tape. Spent 3 hours and still did not have time to do everything. I... More

I was excited when they finished this remodel because the old Madison children's museum was really geared toward the 5 and under crowd ONLY. I was hoping my 7-year old daughter would enjoy this one now as much as she used to enjoy the old museum, but I was sadly disappointed. There are VERY few interactive exhibits, and virtually nothing... More

Was a little bit apprehensive taking my 8 & 11 year old there but there was plenty to do. Give yourself at lest 2-3 hours in order to take it all in.

Madison's new Children Museum has become a great place for young children. My children could easily spend days playing. They have activities to stimulate all the senses and many interests. Occasionally it is very crowded. I have been to children's museums around the country. Madison although a fabulous place for younger children, fails to provide for older children. It is... More
