A good thing that you could drive through because it was a bit spooky. Some of the structures were amazingly ornate and obviously must have cost a lot to put up. More

Of all New Orleans cemeteries Metairie cemetery is a must see! From the King of fried chicken Al Copeland to the family tomb of Anne Rice just take the canal street trolley to the end of the line and you are there bring lots of film! More

We didnt' get a guide, so, we weren't able to fully appreciate the cemetary as we would have if we had obtained a guide. More

The stories and crypts were very cool, especially the Voodoo Queen. She had quite a crowd! More

This is a must do if you have the opportunity to go to New Orleans , you leave feeling a little nostalgic and have a sense of history, to walk around in the quiet of Metairie Cemetery is to be done with an imagination. More

Having been to New Orleans on many occassions, this is the first time that I actually took a tour and on this tour, our guide gave us the history of the cemetary and explained how people were buried. More

Have been here a couple of times with different people. Very large and has some amazing mausoleums. You can drive thru. More
