It was my second time here and my wife and daughter loved it. It is on the expensive side but as it is for a good cause I don't mind. Kids will love it. Adults will find it interesting and the Leafy Sea dragons are about the oddest looking things you will ever see!
The conservation work they do here to preserve the seahorse is extraordinary. They have saved the species and are working on others. The reviews are on point about the tour itself. The tour cost is directly invested into their work. We think it was the highlight of our vacation! Go! You will enjoy it!!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We got to see the baby seahorses and all the development stages. We got to feed them. We even got to reach into the tanks and let them attach themselves to our fingers! It was a great experience. We could feed them as well. They even had seaweed for us to taste.
We learned how...

I have been here twice and loved every minute of it. It is educational, fun, and beautiful.
You get to hold a seahorse underwater, (actually the seahorse holds you!!! ) You learn so much about the area, the ocean, and how seahorses grow and are being saved by the research at this facility. I took one grumpy person for thier...

It is a research facility so you have to wash your hands and arms before you get to hold a seahorse. The lady (sorry I forgot her name) who took us through and explained everything to us was great and...

If you love seahorses you this tour is a DO NOT MISS! Great tour guide (Jake), great movement (seahorse conservation). Informative, interesting and entertaining!
After washing your hands to prevent contamination of the tanks, you are escorted through the stages of propagating seahorses, culminating in the opportunity to have a seahorse wrap its tail around your fingers. The guide was well-informed and the seahorses are precious to behold. They even have rare sea dragons on display. It's a one-of-a-kind type of aquaculture and very...

Having been to Monterey Bay aquarium and seeing much better exhibits of seahorses, this one seems like a shack in comparison with gravel roads. However, the kids were thrilled to feel a seahorse. The service was good, the ladies didn't seem to be in rush to get us out. The young girl even gave us a bag of seaweed to...
