When we were there no tour & no guide. There are some interesting exhibits. We might try again just to get the whole experience that others have had.

The grand tour (on Fridays) of NELHA, near the Kona airport, is awesome! We learned all about OTEC (ocean thermal energy conversion), completely clean energy that could be Hawaii's energy future. My husband and I have lived on Hawaii Island for five years and have been meaning to take a tour of this Center for all five of those years.
