Loved the Nirvana exhibit and being able to listen to all the underground tunes. Great Hendrix stuff too. The horror movie exhibit is really cool, and don't skip the fantasy / sci fi ones. There's stuff there whether or not you're a Trekkie. :) Very cool museum.

The exhibits at this museum are second to none. They are exhaustively detailed, fully interactive and completely absorbing. When I visited, I got to experience exhibits about horror films, fantasy, Jimi Hendrix, the Art of Gaming and Nirvana <3. Couple that with Sky Church, the Sci Fi Museum and being able to jump on stage and play music with my... More

Visited in May. $20 per adult is a little expensive. Nice guitar display. Hendrix area was kind of small but some nice memorabilia.

We loved the exhibits, particularly Jimi Hendrix' who I followed when in college. The interactive exhibits were well done. Could have passed on the Nirvana exhibit but it gave us a feel for a different generation and what our children were liking at the time.

So much to see and do here. Although the focus is on music there are many other exhibits that add to the whole experience. Most exhibits are interactive with audio commentary so allow yourself plenty of time to soak it all in. I was fortunate in being able to see the horror movie and the fantasy exhibits; both were extremely... More

This museum is great for all of the nerds out there. I especially liked the grunge music and art of video games exhibits.

I'm a total music junky so I loved this place! Had a great Jimi Hendrix & Nirvana display - very interesting & great memorabilia/artifacts. Video game room where you can play all the classics. Upstairs you can learn to play musical instruments then record your own video if you desire. Very eclectic mix of displays - not your typical museum.... More

Took my two teenagers. Perfect for older kids and young adults. I dont think there are as many things for little kids. Lots of movie and music stuff to entertain for a couple of hours.

As an accomplished amateur musician with 35+ years of playing experience I was initially excited to visit, but other than the 3rd floor with the interactive instruments and jam rooms, I found this place a HUGE disappointment and a ripoff for the $20 admission fee. Even though this is a fairly new facility, it already is showing signs of being... More

I wanted to go to the EMP while the Art of Video Games was on exhibit from the Smithsonian. That exhibit was a little underwhelming though I did enjoy seeing many games that I have not played in years. My husband liked to horror exhibit and it was cool to see some Sci-Fi memorabilia. I will say we got through... More
