The Gene Leahy Mall in downtown Omaha, NE is a great place to spend an afternoon just relaxing, reading a book, watching the people or the ducks on the lake, and just enjoying an afternoon or a lunch hour.

Sometimes the slides at the Gene Leahy Mall feel just like sesame street. There are a ton of people with wax paper taking turns whipping down the slides. So much fun and free!

A night in downtown Omaha or the Old Market could not be complete without a walk down Gene Leahy Mall! There are always couples walking around this softly-lit mini river that cuts into the heart of Omaha. During the day, bums gather in the west end of the mall but dissipate by nightfall. MUST SEE!!!
