The lobby isn't spacious and the seats are a little crowded, but that's the price you pay for the luxury of an antique building. Opulent is the only word I can use to describe the decor. It feels like a Broadway theater in New York. Sound is great. I love it here!

This is a nice theater that has recently been renovated. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The views and acoustics are good. The seats are a little tight, but definitely more comfortable than The Landmark. Biggest complaint is that there are limited exits in the balcony and only one bathroom upstairs. This creates a bit of a traffic jam... More

This is a family favorite so I took my son for his birthday. The theater is very lovely. The seats are comfortable and the view of good even in the balconies. But the real beauty is in the stars and clouds in the ceiling, the statues, and the gilding. How lovely!

Sorry, but this is not a great venue. HOwever, due to limited theaters with large capacity, it gets some great shows.

I was at the center last night to see a performance. I was shocked at the interior. While the size of the place is fine the seating is poor. First of all, the seats are placed way too close together. Sitting in the seat I felt like I was on a flight from hell. You know, the lowest of economy... More

We went to hear KEM on Thursday. We sat on the second row, on the floor. We were very close to him. I was surprised there were seversl rows of office chairs in front of us. When I ordered our tickets, that section wasn't available on TicketMaster. Anyway, the venue is classy and the sound system is pretty good. In... More

I attended many performances here and have yet to be disappointed. I haven't been recently but plan on correcting that as soon as possible.

The Central Virginia Jazz Orchestra has been performing around Richmond, VA for seven years and just keeps getting better. Last year's concert (on 3/27/2011) in Rhythm Hall at Center Stage featured the music of Frank Foster, who attended and was honored by Richmond's City Council with "Frank Foster Day" and the Richmond Jazz Society which printed the programs. It would... More

Nice old-time feel and great to watch a play. Look for the clouds above you in the theater.

Since the grand opening, it's always been a favorite place for a performance. Beautiful. Good acoustics. Great experience every time.
