Attended "Music and the Spoken Word" on a Sunday Morning. Apparently the longest running national broadcast in the US. What a glorious experience - and for no charge! Wanted to stand up and cheer at the end.

Very awe inspiring and a little intimidating in its size and prominence. Art exhibit and roof garden are not to be missed....spectacular views

Free choir practice - a bit boring as many parts were rehearsed over and over again, but the acoustics was amazing

We attended the Thursday evening rehearsal in the Tabernacle. It was wonderful to listen to the marvellous voices singing a variety of songs. It was interesting to see the conductor refining the performances in advance of the weekly broadcasts.

I sat at an evening concert on Sat and a morning session on Sunday. Both fantastic. The acoustics of the hall is amazing. The choir and the pipe organs are beautiful. They are all free! I went to buy the CD of the choirs from a book store on the other side of the street.

Heard the choir practicing and it was an amazing experience, once in a lifetime! Only there with maybe 50 people while they were practicing, just happened to be in the building and they asked us if we would like to come in. Amazing!
