Definitely worth stopping here. The small church is unique both inside and outside. The walls are covered with paintings of scenes from the bible and the lives of saints. It is situated on a hill overlooking a cemetery. The grounds are lovely. A peaceful place to spend some quiet time. There is no charge, but a donation is appreciated.

This was special. Looking out over the ocean, this historic church and it's history was mesmerizing. It's a little out of the way but not by far. Be swept up in the history and the artwork on the inside. Look over the beautiful burial ground and envision the way it would have been 150 years ago.

To view this lovely Little Painted Church. Very peaceful spot to meditate. The cemetary is closed to visitors.

This was a pretty little Catholic church surrounded by pretty grounds and an old cemetery. You cannot get into cemetery. Paintings in church are lovely. Worth a visit if in the area.

The church is absolutely beautiful. The cemetery next door gives you some history. Small hand made crafts out front for purchase, we bought one for our Christmas tree.

We have been here twice. I think it is just amazing that a church constructed of Wood and painted walls still stands here. The cemetary is also pretty cool.
