Truth is, we rode from this stable over a decade ago and loved it...but if you take the trail ride up the mountain side, it is not for the faint of heart. The trail is narrower than the horse is wide!

The "cowpokes" were very, very nice and extremely helpful. My Granddaughter had never riden before but everyone made certain she was on a very, very gentle ride and she had the best time!! The little gal that took us out even took the time to take several photo's of us. The ride we took (one hour) is up the mountain...

My friends went here while in Colorado on a girls weekend. Was a great experience with very knowledgeable guides. Ashley was great! Would recommend this for families and friends.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Cowpoke Corner Corral. My girlfriends from high school and I took a look weekend trip to Estes Park, Colorado. We wanted to see and do as much as we could in four days so we decided to trip horseback riding. We found the CCC listed in a travelers guide and called in advance for...

Went on a two hour guided horseback ride with my 16 and 9 year old children that had never ridden before. Staff was engaging. Very scenic ride through mountains. I would highly recommend!
The google GPS on my phone was a bit off for this one. Given we are not on major roads, it kept saying to turn onto side street, but there was no street sign saying it was a street. After driving back and forth a few times, I saw a tiny sign for a camping area that also said "Cowpoke...

The first thing I would like to say is a BIG THANK YOU to the staff at the Cowpoke Corner Corral, namely Erin, Ashley and Shane who made our daughters' holiday one of the best ever. We stayed at Glacier Lodge where the stables are located and lost our children to the stables whenever we weren't out touring. The patience...

I took my niece who has limited riding experience on the 3 hour ride. She was paired well with an older horse who took care of her. My horse was sure-footed and they all were in good weight. The trails are somewhat steep and rocky in parts but the horses knew their jobs.
I think the key to enjoyment at Cowpoke Corner Corral is booking the right ride. The shorter 1-2 hour rides are for beginners. My sister booked the 3 hour ride. This is a trail ride. Much of it quite vertical over rocks and roots with plenty of switchbacks. I wasn't looking for a nose to tail boring walk through a...

This place gets a very good rating from me, they have good horses, and our guide was very friendly. The office staff was helpful, the only downside for me was the "only walk" rule they have. I knew it up front, so no complaints, but just be aware those of you with riding experience. For beginners I would say this...
