Like i wrote on the Mission Trail review, these are a beautiful set of churches/missions that for me is a must see. If you enjoy historical sites, ruins, and pretty old architecture you'll like Mission Concepcion and all the other missions on this trail

Spent plenty of time here to see how missions looked and the goal of having them in this area. All informative.

Architecture is amazing....Beautiful design. Definitely add to your things to do list, as well as the remaining missions.

All the missions are incredible but this one has not been reconstructed. It has been restored and the frescoes cleaned so they can be seen. It's unbelievable that they've been there since the 1700s.

I reviewed this under Missions, but to reiterate. Take a city bus or rent a bike from the kiosk, a taxi costs far to much for the 2.8 mile journey. There is no admission price to enter this still active church and grounds. It is ancient and the feeling of peace is pervasive. A beautiful place to visit.

Very beautifl mission. Must really notice the colors on the inside walls and ceiling that have been preserved. There is some work being done in the area but doesn't get in the way of visiting.

This mission was very beautiful and tranquil. Unfortunately it is under construction. A big crane is in front and various building and other materials are on the grounds. The mission its self is not as large but it is a nice place for a picnic. This mission though doesn't have a lot to do or a lot of historical information.

Marvelous Mission but the road to it is under construction so use your GPS. Helpful Park Rangers. Well worth the time and effort.

My mother and I visited this mission because it is the oldest one in the nation. We were not disappointed. The church is breathtaking. The inside is awe inspiring given all the history that occurred there. The sanctuary was still decorated from Easter and was beautiful. We did see a few people that did not seem to respect the dignity... More

Mission Conception is the second best preserved of the Missions. The Church (still in use) is beautiful! It's a peaceful place to walk around and get some great photos. ( We were there midweek, at the end of March, so it might not always be that quiet.) It amazes me that something built so long ago, is still here for... More
