First of all, if you have read the negative reviews and are concerned, don't be. The entire spa is very clean, all staff very professional and caring and perfectly safe lockers (the same lockers at every high end spa I have ever been to). We took advantage of the May special which included one hour in a private bath, an... More

I took my mom to Ten Thousand Waves for her birthday - this was the second visit for both of us. The spa is quite different from other spa experiences you'll have - but very, very well worth it. It's located ~10 minutes from downtown Santa Fe in the foothills. The more alpine setting provides a most relaxing setting that... More

If in the Santa Fe area, to visit this should be on your to do list. I suggest the Master's massage and a private tube, but it is all good. I try to go several times a year.

I had heard this spa was very highly recommended and I was so excited to go. However, the day before I was scheduled to go, I received a call inquiring as to where I was. Given that I had booked for the following day, this was quite odd to me. Not only did they not have a record of the... More

10,000 Waves is about a ten minute drive from Santa Fe up into the mountains. It is built on a lovely forested hillside and is much larger and spread out than I thought it was going to be. I was a little nervous when I read about the clothing optional mixed-sex communal hot pool. I took a pair of swimming... More

Group of six women, all doing different treatments. We were a "little" intimidated by the locker room experience. Not used to sharing space and getting naked in front of everyone! We are from OKLAHOMA....you get a private space to change. That being said.....everyone LOVED their spa experiences...nice people with unusual names :) and very nice setting.. We should have taken... You would think that when the staff person arranging for a reservation mixes up the dates, that we wouldn't be charged for not showing up -- ON THE DATE WE NEVER RESERVED. To the tune of $350... It is unfathomanable to me how this is good customer service or customer relations?? Feels more like highway robbery. I will never recommend... More

Efficiently run, charming, clean and attractive small Japanese-style spa in the hills up from Santa Fe. I am a big fan of all kinds of spas & get lots of massages and reflexology. When you check in here, you get a kimono robe & slippers & are given a locker in the changing rooms - rooms that have good showers... More

The spa is very well run with excellent facilities. Although relatively expensive, I considered it a good value. I would go back if I find myself in the area again.

Been to spas in many places. Most are over the top with attitude and fluff. 10K Waves has the attitude of a laid back Buddha and is completely fluffless. My wife has never been a fan of massages (they tickle!), She was in a state of bliss after her 80 minute massage, as was I. It is very well worth... More
