Good to go to for their guided tours, to ask questions of staff. Brochure and overall on your own exploration not so fulfilling.Flagstaff has many nonprofits and community participation. I'm sure there are many involved and passionate people involved with the Arboretum but some rework is needed. I don't know the history behind the arboretum's challenges, but while grounds are... It was a dirt road to get to the arboretum, however the area was very peaceful and the fall colors were very nice to photograph. Wandered around the trails and enjoyed the peaceful nature of the gardens

I enjoyed myself here. Agreat place to take a walk and get away from it all. the had a bird show. It was cool. Beautufl flowers and plants. It is not expensive. It is great place to go for a couple of hours and enjoy the peace and quite of nature. Takes about 10 minutes to get there from downtwon... More

For a great guide to mountain planting and an idyllic setting, the Arboretum is a lovely place on the west side of Flagstaff. Docents were helpful in answering questions. It hosts delightful live music concerts on summer evenings.

Great to walk around in and enjoy gardens and plants outdoors. Very peaceful to walk around and enjoy the different plants and offer you suggestions. They also offer classes and other things.

It is a pretty setting but you can just go to one of the parks and see just about as much as you do here

The arboretum has splendid examples of the flora of the Colorado Plateau. The guide was very knowledgeable. Due to potential bad weather we stayed close to the visitors center. We saw the herb garden and I was impressed with all the types and uses of herbs. I think it was typical of the plant life that you would see while... More

Informative walking tour. Also enjoyed the wildlife presentation. The entry road is a washboard in places and lots of dust gets kicked up by the traffic.

We love this place. We have visited several times with our granddaughters, starting when they were very young. They are now in their early teens and still like to go there. The raptors are a favorite, but they also love to walk the paths and see all the flowers and plants, and they always want to hike the forest trails,... More

Don't bother. Virtually nothing was in bloom! There were a few flowers in a tiny greenhouse. It was a waste of time and money and trust me I have been to several arboretums. This one couldn't hold a candle to any of them
