This is a very easy walk, no hiking, no steep hills or difficult paths, anybody can do it, and you can just take it for part of the itinerary, it will be worth your time. It's on the other side of Bellevue av, so you are going to be able to see the Victorian mansion from the rear side, walking... More

Loved this unique paved coastline trail to enjoy the beauty of the gorgeous New England coastline. The trai is 3 miles long but you can easily enter and exit at your leisure.

We really enjoyed the view and the experience of walking along the cliff in front of the mansions. We started at the top of the 40 steps at the end of Narragansett ave and walked to the south. After passing the Marble House, the condition of the path deteriorated and we finally had to turn back once Rough Point was... More

I went to Cliff Walk with a native Rhode Islander. I found it to be breathtaking and as my first visit to RI, a place I can't wait to go back to. We had beautiful weather, which of course just added to the ambience. Although parking can be an issue, I encourage you to go. Wear comfortable shoes and bring... More

This is a great walk to do if you're in the Newport area. I did it quite a few years back. You get a great view over the water and also of the many huge mansions which line the path. It really is a beautiful part of the world and stunning on a sunny day

We rented bikes and headed over to the Cliff Walk. We secured our bikes and off we went. The view was breath taking, and the fresh ocean air does a soul good. The path was a little small in width, so it was difficult for us to walk together, with others constantly passing us. But we survived! The view and... More

This is one of the must-see attractions in Newport, but about half of it is closed right now (May 2013) due to hurricane damage. Go anyway, because it's beautiful.

Very scenic. Currently a section is closed because of hurricane Sandy damage. A lovely way to see the mansions!
