Beautiful, parking is tough, can become very crowded. A little tough to see the homeless but overall not aggressive at all. There were bikers, runners, walkers, people barbecuing. Overall very nice.

This is a great beach / park without the crowds of Waikiki. Parking is free and there is lots of it.
I love this park. It has a nice beach to enjoy the ocean. There is one section where there is sharp coral, but there are signs showing that location.
What is not ot like about this park. The beach is perfect and the water is wonderful. It is not nearly as crowded as Waikiki beach. Make sure to pack something to eat as food and drinks are not really available. Enjoy watching the surfers and the whale during season.
We stayed at the Ilikai and walked over one morning-it is so beautiful and not so crowded as so many beaches in Waikiki-at least when we were there-also an awesome view of Diamond Head!
it has a beautiful view, relaxing tone, and is not as crowded as waikiki beach. only one shortage is that I find it's not easy to find the restaurant nearby. might be better to pack your sandwich for lunch. :)
Spacious and peaceful park with clean white sand and clear water. There are little fishes swimming in the rocks on the other side of the beach. Calm waters close to the beach, plenty of surfers catching the waves in the deeper waters after the rocky formations.
All good. Beach is mellow and easy to watch the kids around. Better if you have a stand-up paddleboard
Our condo was very close to this beach so we went several times. The sand is nice and the water is good and it stays shallow for a ways out so it would be good for kids. It was never to crowded.
Nice sandy beach lovely water too. lots of familys out for the day with picnics kids playing on the grass and under the trees. Go to the ABC store an stock up for the day and spend it there. There were a few homeless people there as with all of waikiki but no problems with them.
