My wife and I always enjoy the Cayuga wine trail events. We have attended each of the four events for many years. We just returned from the Wine and Herb event April 28, 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves UNTIL we visited Lucas Winery. My wife and I were enjoying our wine tasting when we were rudely interrupted by one of... More

miles of beautiful scenery interspersed with incredible wineries. One personal favorite is Thirsty Owl, great wines, a fun tasting bar and owners and staff who really care about their customers.

The wineries are open all year. There are so many to visit on both side of Cayuga Lake. Limo Services are available if you need them. Some wineries have Cafe and Restaurant style dining too. Lodgeing is available in Seneca Falls, Local B&B's and Ithica.

The wineries are staffed by friendly and outgoing people. They never act snooty or make people feel ignorant about wines.

We had always gone to Seneca lake, so this was our first time doing the Cayuga lake wine trail. Was a little nervous because it wasn't as "popular" as Seneca, but it definitely didn't disappoint!!! Wow, it was just as good and I think the wine itself was actually better. Was a great day trip for us, we plan on... More

I've been to Sanoma and although I LOVE the Sanoma County wines. This is my 6th trip to the Cayuga Wine Trail. The Cayuga Wine trail has the most variety of venues from Vodka tasting, to Hard Cidar to award winning wines of every variety. There is a creamery if you like ice cream and all the wineries have the... More

After visiting the Seneca Falls wineries one day, we decided to try the Cayuga wine trail the next day. We enjoyed the Americana winery. We arrived on a Sunday and there was a pleasant surprise. Every Sunday they have a musical group. We enjoyed walking on the beautiful property and listening to the group. The staff is very friendly there.... More

The Finger Lakes Wine trail has everything, lakes, scenery, hospitality and great wines. It is best to make sure that your group has a teetotaler for the day. There are numerous wineries along the way that have tastings and tours. Generally they are free; some may charge for sampling but it is usually a nominal fee. Great time to go... More

Loved traveling along the lake and visiting the different wineries and tasting lots of good wine. The lake is so beautiful and each winery is unique.
