Fun, relaxing and unexpensive. We visited twice, just to enjoy the view, the relaxing atmosphere. A must when you visit El Valle. Massages are offered, but prices seemed a little high.

Like everybody else, I don't know why they called hot baths, the wateer is lukewarm and too much hoopla over the mud. I have been in Costa Rica at the Baldi hot springs, that's the place to go, absolutely owesome expensive but beautiful.
A must for anyone visiting the area! The mud facials were awesome and my skin never felt better. Didn't think the pools were very warm though compared to others I've been to. But all in all a great fun thing to do for a very reasonable price! The most fun was watching others do the mud facials.
Good - price was $2, option to buy facial mineral mud for $2 per jar Bad - people making out, I think they may have been even having sex in the hot pool and we were with kids and who wants to swim with people making out, so we couldnt enjoy... they should really be on top of this
Old, needs massive new investment. Probably unsanitary. Nothing would have made me get in those hot tubs. Avoid.

Really, just warm baths and not much mud involved but a nice way to while away an hour. Needs upgrading.
There is no longer a mud bath, but a small bowl of clay which you are allowed to spead on your face only. You then have to let is dry while you lounge around and wash off before you head to the thermal spring pool. The pool is small and mirky and barely lukewarm. But on a hot day, it's...

If you are expecting a luxury spa, don't even bother paying the $2 admission fee and keep on driving. However, if you're up for a little fun go for it! We did the mud facials and laughed the whole time. Our faces did come out baby soft, so for $2 I think it was well worth it. We did not...
