The jeep safari is a good way of seeing the south of the island and lasts all day. (9.30am - 4.30pm) The driver/guide is very friendly and has been in the island for 13 years so knows his stuff (he is english) stops off at interesting places like the beach where the agean sea meets the med - very nice.... Dusty, very hot but got to go of the beaten track and see a couple of little greek villages. Have the option to drive but glad I didn't as were a couple of narrow and steep climbs. Was pretty good value for money however as it lasted all day.
