The course has definitely improved from recent reviews, but parts of the course are still a bit scruffy. There are some spectacular holes and some fairly ordinary. Play was slow though, be prepared as there was no chance of being called through!!

Lovely place to play golf... Greens and fairways are improving. Magnificent sea views whilst playing. I enjoyed.

We played the course three times in our recent visit as it was already arranged and it is in a very poor condition, the only saving graces are the views. The layout is good but apart from that not much else going for it. If we had paid this much money to play a course in the UK we would... More

The course has a good design but unfortunatly the condition is terrible (greens and fairways). We will never play there again as the surrounding courses are far superior. Dont waste your money folks. The staff and starter were helpful and friendly and clubhouse of good standard, pity they forgot to look after golf course.

Played early December with 2 ex-pat members. Got a twilight rate of 49 Euros but only completed 15 holes as there was a very rare but extremely welcomed rain deluge. The course is in need of more planned and regular watering and general maintenance as many fairways are very patchy in places but there are some scenic and very challenging tee... Golfed here as a three ball and whilst accepting it would be slow in amongst four balls we got stuck behind groups of Italian golfers and managed a five and a half hour round...awful. The course is reasonably well designed however about five holes on the front nine and one on the back have been under maintenance and likewise fairways... More

Visited in Sept 2012. Sadly the very high standard of finish on the greens is not matched by either the fairways or the surrounding landscape between holes. There is clearly a lot of work being done on and around the course. The fairways looked to have been subject to a treatment (dressing) which had gone badly wrong leaving them brown... More

Perhaps many years ago this was the place to be seen and play golf, however now that golf has opened up to the "man in the street" this ones seems to be overpriced and not very well kept. The shop staff were the most miserable people i met in Tenerife, the clubhouse staff were better but what a missed opportunity... More

We finished off a 10 day golf holiday with one round on the Amarilla as it was near the airport. To be fair that was and is the only positive point in its favour. I see another review (now), which describes the surrounds as 'Beirut', this is very apt, but only part of the problem. Most annoying was the way... More
