If you like history then you will enjoy wondernig through the small and nicely set up Macao Museum and it's a nice air conditioned break from the crowds outside!

This is one of the best designed cultural museums I've ever seen (only Hong Kong's history museum seems its equal). On top of that, it's about a country with a compelling 'life story'. If you're a history buff of any kind, put this at the top of your list.

This is a beautiful place in Macau. This gives a chance to re-visit the history behind Macau and European influence on Macau Culture. A must see place in Macau.

Museums can be boring if they are not well design and not visitors friendly however this one is quite nice. You can have a overview of the history of Macau, traditions, portuguese and macanese food. The Macau Museum offers a great insight to the history if this fascinating colony. There is currently a great exhibition on the history of the Jesuit priests who came to Macau in the early days

The Museum is located in an old fort in the old part of Macau - adjacent to the St Pauls ruins. Cost to visit was only P15. The displays are very good and well laid out.
