If you need a break from gambling... come to the ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral. There is a lot of interesting things to do in this area. Lot's of unique foods and banter. It is a fun little area. Great portuguese restaurants in the area as well... Macau has a lot to see for such a small place. If you... More

The ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral is an attraction as it is wherein what you see is what you get. It is in ruins already. People hang out here at night by the steps.

Very nice historical place, but the downside is the swarm of tourists literally all over the place, it'd be hard to take photos or enjoy the ruins peacefully. On the other hand, there are a lot of shops/food stalls and also a number of old buildings near the ruins where you can be exposed to the mixture of Chinese and... More

The remains of St Paul is a great place, taking one back to the old times especially in a place like macau. The whole experience of walking through all the bakeries making fresh cookies etc, the cobble stone pathways, the Portuguese inspired buildings takes one back in time. The place offers many unique photo ops..

let me tell you this, the street area leading to the cathedral is PACKED. There will be a lot of people and it will probably be really hot/humid that day. But there was loads of fun/ touristy stuff to do like the many souvenir shops you will probably pass by selling jerky/almond cookies/ and other sweets. For people who want... More

I mean, who comes to Macau but has never step foot on this landmark?? It's like you've never been to Macau. Pros:- 1. The journey to the top is the fun part; 2. You'll be amazed by the crowd; 3. If you like roasted pork or beef, a plethora of cookies, portuguese tarts, snacks, tit bits, pork floss, souvenirs, this... More

its a beautiful place but only if you want to take pictures. that's about all to do there..It is difficult to find nice, cheap local food at that area too. However all the other attractions are close to St Paul.

The ruins are nice, but no big deal. But the great part about this attraction is getting there. You have to WALK through downtown and historic Macau to get to the ruins, which is where the great fun is. So many little shops and food attractions. All the specialties of Macau are there as you walk along quaint little streets... More
