A Monument to the history of this area, located adjacent to the Lapu Lapu statue. Worth the visit. Plenty of locals and tourists passing through

This place has a shrine of lapu lapu and magellan's marker. This shrine remembers the first war between spanish and native filipinos. There are lots of shops, food stalls. Umbrellas are available since its so hot.

You will see here a mural showing the Battle of Mactan fought between LapuLapu and the native Filipinos, and Ferdinand Magellan and the Spaniards from his fleet. Nearby is a nice commemorative Marker of Magellan's landing in Mactan. This event is a significant part of Philippine history. Hundreds of tourists visit this place. I do hope the Philippine government will... More

Not really too much to say about this other than it is a great place to pass an hour or two. It is a beautiful garden property with statutes of Lapu Lapu, Magellean (sp), and wonderful portraits of an earlier time. Great picture opportunities as it borders a waterway which provides an incredibly cool breeze on an otherwise hot night.... More
