Great morning & lunch at Swinton Park with Chris Bax and Steve Bulmer! Spent the morning learning and foraging for food around the Swinton Park estate and then Steve cooked a fantastic lunch. Both were really passionate about their subjects and a real pleasure and honour to listen to them and eat the food! Highly recommend!!!

Using his wealth of experience and his engaging style Steve Bulmer puts the fun into cooking. Our course ,in meat cookery, was a great chance to meet other foodies and to enjoy the fruits of Steve's talent. I was amazed at how many dishes we managed to get through in a day. Everything about the day was positive. In comparison... More

My son and I attended a Mediterranean Cookery Course last week. It was our first experience of a cookery course and it certainly won't be our last. We came away more knowledgeable and enthused. Our tutor, Steve Bulmer was fantastic, entertaining and inspiring. A day we will not forget.

I was bought the days course as a gift, I was unsure what to expect having never tried a cookery course. It was fun from start to finish. Lots of useful tips, great stories from Stephen. A man with so much experience and willingly shares. I will be trying another course. I'm using my new skills and recipes already.

I was bought the chocolate course for christmas and I really enjoyed it - Steve our course tutor was great fun and I learnt a lot of things I can wow my friends with. We ended covering many different chocolate creations and then put it all together for a fabulous tasting! I highly recommend it. One minor point is that... More

An exceptional 2 day course with Stephen Bulmer - a wide ranging course in which Stephen transfered so much knowledge and techniques with fun and such enthusiasm. His experience, skill and ability to teach shined through over the two days which included a chef's table style dinner. Exceptional value and a great location. This course is a must for those... I went on the Indian Masterclass with Pret and Parish. So relaxed and friendly atmosphere with nice guests. Went on my own and never felt awkward once. Leart so much and had a wonderful meal at the end. Cannot reccomend this enough for a birthday or general gift idea. Well done and thank you guys!!!

I have never been on a cookery day before but I couldn't resist the Aga course being offered last week. From start to finish, the day was a wonderful experience and definitely one I shall do again. I was served delicious coffee on arrival and introduced to the other cooks. I gather Stephen Bulmer is new to Swinton Park but... More

My first cookery course and although I was very nervous, both John the Chef and the great crowd of fellow budding cooks soon put me at my ease. The content and organiasation of the course was excellent from coffee in front of the roaring fire(In the hotel reception where the staff were delightful) to the lunch where we all feasted... More

Wonderful few days. Rosemary just as on TV. Her style takes perhaps a bit of getting used to but very useful course. Jilly fantastic as is the chef. They cater also for all diets without complaint. We even got a tour of the estate by the Lord of the Manor. Great setting. Highly recommended.
