You may or may not get a seat! The ferry is very much like a transit bus and unfortunately we took it at rush hour, so it seemed! If you are elderly or disabled, you will have a tough time getting in or off the ferry, especially when the tide is low. The gentlemen that work on the ferry will... More

Unless you have a boat & you want to get to another island, this is the way to go. Watch the limited schedule & be at the dock or you'll spend the night where you started! That said, if your cabbie calls & gives them a heads up, they'll wait a bit for you. Experienced captain, enclosed cabin, sea-worthy boat,... More

We took Albury's ferry from Marsh Harbor to Hope Town (on Elbow Cay). The boat was clean and well run. If you're going to Hope Town to browse the schedule is frequent enough to allow changes in plans if you decide that you want to extend your half day trip into the afternoon.

The whole Albury's Ferry fleet serves Marsh Harbor, Guana Cay, Hope Town and Man-O-War Cay. This is the best way to travel the settlements around Marsh Harbor. We have used the Albury ferry system to travel to all these points, and their boats were clean and well maintained. The crew were expert in the vessels' operation, and it is a... More

Fairly good timetable and routes. Unlike everything else in the Bahamas, they go ON TIME, so don't be late!! Some of the boats are beginning to show their age, but still run reliably.

It's the only way for nonboaters to get to Hope Town on Elbow Cay. Service was on time and helpful and the boats seemed well maintained and safely operated--all very important. However, I at $27, a roundtrip is not a bargain. I also inquired about packages to do a day trip from Elbow Cay to the other cays, and it... More

The ride was smooth and the guys helped get your luggage on and off the boat but it would be nice if they interacted more with the passengers. No one spoke the whole ride over.

If you don't have a boat and want to get to the outer cays from Marsh Harbour, this is the way to do it. $27 round trip to Elbow, Man of War, and Great Guana Cays. Seems to be on time and business-like. Helpful crew. Passengers are a mix of workers, students and tourists. The boats are not fancy but... More

We were taking a bunch of boxes of supplies to our cottage ontop of our luggage. The Ferry crew were good about helping us load and unload at the docks.

Always on time - be aware that it's $27 round trip to each island, so can get a little pricey if you move around a lot and have a family.
