You will always get this sense of satisfaction and a nice feeling when you visit here. It does not give you a commercial look the way Tirupati temple is managed (Money for everything you do). The temple complex still retains that old charm though the crowd has swelled in multiples. Try going for the aarti. Preferably Kakad aarti or Shej... More

This is one place, from where I do not feel like coming back to my home! You just have to have Shraddha(Faith) and Saburi(Patience), and the amount of peace Sai Baba bestows upon his devotees is ineffable. On the banks of the blessed river Godavari, Shirdi is situated where millions and millions of people throng to cast their burden on... More

A visit to Shirdi is a very spiritual experience and it evokes a feeling of being overwhelmed and humbled at the same time. The temple is very well organised but can be very busy given millions of devotees coming from all over the world. Roses are presented as offerings . Part of the journey is made bare footed while there... More

If one can overlook the crass commercialization in the name of faith that hits you the minute you enter this temple town, from the guy shoving flowers etc in your face to the tout who promises to get you "darshan" done within 30 minutes if you pay a few bucks extra which I presume must be shared with at least... Well maintained temple. Buying any flowers or Pooja materials outside is a waste, since we r not allowed to put on the idol. Aarti darshan is best. Book online for ease.

I truly believe that the visit to the temple cannot be expressed in words. Its truly spiritual experience and can be felt only by being there.

Best to avoid the "helpers" hanging around temple entrance and use any of the entrances. Waiting area is clean and well ventilalted, queues are orderly, the darshan - heavenly! I believe one could book time on the net for a faster and more comfortable experience, will probably try it next time.
