An amazing collection of early Australia. Cottages, a school, heaps of vehicles. This really is a hidden gem which all Australian history buffs should visit. Allow at least 3 hours, possibly more. More

dont usually like these style museum But this one is really worth the visit lots to see and do and the staff are very freindly the Scones in the Cafe are home made YUM More

Herberton Historic Village is a wonderful walk back in time and a great educational outing for the kids. It brings back old memories of my youth looking at all the items. I even donated some things from my father's estate that they liked. It is a lovely day trip from Cairns and well worth the look. More

Think Sovereign Hill but without all the shops trying to sell you stuff, just proudly displaying the heritage of this historic area. Pretty amazing collection of original artefacts.
