good and knowledgeable staff and plenty of tequila to try. Make sure to ask for the vault tour where they store their premium tequila barrels.

Staying at La Cofradia, we were party to their informative tours at a much smaller scale than the sprawling factory of Cuervo Mundo. It was interesting to see the more mechanised version on a larger scale. The tour was interesting and offered in English or Spanish. We found the grounds quite crowded (on a Saturday so it was to be... More

You can get a very clear idea of the production process and drink Tequila with a totally new perception after tasting and be informed about all kinds and characteristics.

Tequila is not only a great distilled spirit but a wonderful town to visit, and Mundo Cuervo is the place to see it all. Housed in an historic stone building with courtyard, the muséo is muy fantastico - with history of tequila (the spirit and the town), Jose Cuervo (the man has won many awards) and plenty of art, bottles... The tour of the Mundo Cuervo distillery is worth it if you have any interest in tequila at all. A friendly guide takes you through the main steps in the process and tells about the differences in the various types of tequila, with an opportunity for sampling along the way. The tour ends with a tasty margarita. If you take... More

After going to the Sauza tour the last time we were in Tequila, we thought we'd try Jose Cuervo. There is no comparison and the Cuervo tour actually costs 30 pesos more. Cuervo's tour is much shorter, our guide was not very informative and the tequila tasting was a joke. They handed out a dixie cup sized margarita which was... More

The ambience in the old tequilas factory is so concentrate mexican! You can take a tour or just to drink a remarkable Margarita in the restaurant or shop in the boutique. Leaving the factory you will feel with all your receptors real Tequila.
