The view is simply amazing and breathtaking. Beautiful ocean view, in the Philippines longest bridge. We manage to stop by and walk a few mile to see the view first hand, its a very wonderful experience.
We walked the whole 2kms from Samar to Leyte on a nice morning. Beautiful scenery and views all around. Traffic levels are low and you feel safe at all times. Well worth,it for the views and experience.

San Juanico Bridge is the longest bridge here. Forms letter S if facing Samar side and forms Letter L if facing Leyte side. Go there on a not so busy time so you can stop right in the highest point (middle) or else you have to walk coz it's a no stopping area.
A long sttretch of 2.16 kilometrs, it is the longest bridge in the Philippines connecting Samar and Leyte and said to be a gift of Former President Marcos to his wife Imelda Romualdez marcos. It is one of the legacy of Marcos regime and one of the most beautifully designed bridges in the Philippines.
It's quite unique since the shape resembles an S and L, like samar and leyte. YOu should go here before sunrise facing the east. Watching the Dawn in this bridge is a bliss
San Juanico Bridge (also known as Marcos Bridge) is among the longest bridges in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia and connects Leyte and Samar. The bridge is shaped like the letters L S which stands for Leyte and Samar. Best to walk the bridge. Worth a visit.
You can see some islands below the bridge and the sea is very calm. Too bad we can't stop in the middle part of the bridge for photo shoots.
