One of the many fine gardens of Tokyo, this one is a little out of the way, but easy to reach and never crowded. Paths lead you across tiny islands and around the pond. Huge...

"We enjoyed the Tokyo Food Tour very much. For us, it was a private tour, so the tour can be customized to the foods or restaurants that you want to eat at. Ken was a great tour guide. Our flight arrived in Tokyo late. Ken was very flexible and accomadating. He has great knowledge of the Tokyo area a..."nd took us to places where the local's eat, so we got to eat great food that wasn't expensive. I really did enjoy walking around the Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) area and dining at the Izakaya bars. Ken was also very helpful in setting up reservations and guiding us to a restaurant that we wanted to try after the tour.
Thanks for the great tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody who is a foodie and wants to try the local restaurants found only in Tokyo. The local restaurants don't speak much English, so I would definately recommend bringing a knowledgeable tour guide to make sure your ordering the right dishes.

"We were disappointed to learn that we had missed seeing ASIMO's show (daily at 11.00 and 14.00 I believe), however he was gracious enough to wave at us when we approached to say hello.
There are some pretty impressive (and interactive) exhibits to wander around, I particularly liked getting tacked..." through a human/computer interaction area where my 'Me' grew and taught me more about his capabilities as we experienced various learning experiments.
The displays showing off new technologies with light reproduction and projection were especially impressive as was the International Space Station capsule. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and knowledgable on the exhibits and made the whole experience a blast.

"After having researched Onsens in Tokyo prior to arrival I chose this one because of its proximity to my hotel in Ginza and was glad I made time in my schedule as it was for me a really pleasant way to build in a break from a busy city and warm up after a cool day of sightseeing the day prior.
Th..."e attraction operates a free shuttle bus from a stop across from Tokyo Station but the timing didn't work well for me so just hopped on New Transit Yurikamome which is a rail connection that will take you over to the onsen on Odaiba island. You may use your Suica card on this line so access is pretty easy though there is a connection at Shimbashi Station you must navigate but luckily it's pretty well signed in English.
The re-created old Edo shops are a nice diversion before & after soaking in the hot pools and prices were fairly reasonable. Sure it's a quite touristy but I enjoyed a beer or two and a bite to eat while watching families interact and there are more traditional onsens if yo...
