  "staying at Waves hotel Barbados like lizp921 we met this guy on the beach at our hotel and likewise having been advised by our rep to only book tours through the hotel we at first declined to take a trip with him and instead went on a coach trip to view some of the sights of the island and were real..."ly disapointed. After that we thought what have we got to lose and booked a three hour tour with Sam, turned out to be the best decision we made. Took us all over the island including a trip round Sandy Cove where he pointed out various homes owned by celebs, then up to North Tip which was spectacular, down the cave nearby, up to Cherry Tree hill - fantastic views down the East coast to Bethsheaba and the huge mushroom rocks. We stopped at the bar on the beach and had a beer with Sam and some of the local characters there, all really friendly guys, finally finished off at the plantation house he then dropped us off in Bridgetown for a very late lunch.   "We were recommended to do the Silver moon cruise by friends and wow what a great choice. We booked via the Internet they organised for a taxi to pick us up at our hotel. On arrival in Bridgetown docks we met our fellow passengers (12 of us in total) and were introduced to Lewis, Dexter and Captain E..."lvis, we were then taken on the most beautiful and clean large catamaran, generally these large boats could take around 40 passengers but Lewis told us that Silver Moon limit their numbers to 24 so everyone has a great 5 hour experience, out tour was from 9am - 2pm. We set off promptly at 9am and were initially given the health and safety talk, after that it was straight to our first port of call the Shipwreck, what a great snorkelling experience this was, Lewis was our guide and not only did he take us around the shipwreck but he also pointed out different types of fish and coral, at one stage he dived to the bottom and brought up a 5 tentacles sea spider, it was amazing.
