The park is divided into sections, and our guide gave a knowledgeable & enthusiastic explanation of each. There were sections on wild & hybrid orchids, plant evolution, vegetables & fruit trees (with free samples from anything that was fruiting at the time). If you are into plants - the trip is well worth it. There is a little cafe for refreshments. There is also some accommodation, which we heard is often full at the weekends, so book ahead. By the way, we were a little put-off by the report in our Lonely Planet guide, which suggests that the place is rather "run down". The drive, climbing the crocker range, stopping by at keningau, and finally passed through tenom town paid off.
