"Beauty at it's best. Highly recommend. I find it crazy to hear how many people have gone to Tobago but did not partake in this most beautiful wonder that nature has to offer.
The hike was short and enjoyable. Lots to see on your way to the falls.
Appropriate shoes and clothing a must. Br..."ing water shoes that you are comfortable in. If you are able to climb to the upper levels, definitely do! It is a narrow path that can be intimidating but a rope is available to use and it really wasn't that bad of a climb. You must also bring a bathing suit. The water is cool and refreshing.
The first pool of water is approx. 18ft deep as per signs near by. This was the highlight of my trip to T&T! And at only $30TT (residents)...what a steal!

"Aside from the long drive up from Crown Point to Charlotteville, the experience was really nice and relaxing, we parked close to the jetty and hiked over the hill to get to the bay, was about a 15-20 minute hike which was pretty easy, and the bay was so beautiful and relaxing, there were hardly any ..."waves at all, the water was crystal clear, the kids really enjoyed it most of all as there were nearly no waves at all. We had a great and relaxing day at Pirates bay, will go again...

"we visited argyle falls while in tobago. We stayed in a hotel very close to the airport. It only took about an hour of driving to get to the falls and it was very easy to find. Entrance fee is $40 TT which is about $6.66 pp. There are guides there that can take you up to the falls but i do not think..." it is mandatory. We had a guide. It is a quick 15-20 min walk. Bring along a piece of bread to feed the fish.
The pool of the falls is about 18 ft deep so poor swimmers should bring a lifevest. there are no lifeguards.
