"I have to start off giving props to Millie Calvin. She runs a small stand outside the hut and she is FABULOUS! She makes jewelry and clothes and little trinkets and we loved her! Before we left her stand, she had hugged us both and shared several stories of her life with us. She is a real treasure ..."and her items are beautiful too!
On to the bar area. We had to try the famous Mama Wanna drink. It is served as a shot and is very medicinal tasting. Millie told us after just one, we'd be wanting to head back home for some "couple time", LOL! It was very warming, but had to be taken in small doses. I was definitely feeling it! OMG, that was some of the very best chicken we have ever had! There were several locals sitting around the bar, and while they didn't pay us any attention for most of the time we were there, we did...

"We visited Rainbow Beach twice during our stay and had a great time both days. We rented snorkeling equipment right there on the beach and snorkled through the trail and saw Charley the turtle. We hung out at Rhythms both day and met a lot of nice people and had great conversation and amazing drin..."ks. Can't wait to return to indulge myself in coconut & limes and fun in the sun!

"My wife and I went here on our last day of our honeymoon. The Pier provide an awesome view of the surrounding area and if you get your binoculars you will see Sandy Point. My biggest disappointment was the pier is not open open for swimming. It appears at one time they allowed people to dive off ..."the pier and climb up the ladder. The other issue we had was the gate is closed so based on that it makes it appear as if you cannot walk up the pier.
