A new adventure in interactive theatre combines the rich history of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada with live improvisational theatre. This unique entertainment format is appropriately dubbed, “Theatre that ‘moves’ you!”, since participants travel between a variety of related outdoor venues. The MOTL experience is part amazing race, part scavenger hunt, part historical adventure, and part interactive theatre. Teams compete against the clock and each other as they are dispatched on an entertaining quest collecting clues, solving puzzles, and interacting with wacky character actors on this unique scavenger hunt as they discover historic Niagara-on-the-Lake. Participants will travel about 1.7 km (1 mile) during the adventure with frequent stops. Customized show dates and times for groups are available."Theatre Express" performances are also available and provide a 'theatre where you are' indoor experience with customized themes within an interactive theatre format.

"Of the seven plays we saw last week at the Shaw Festival, our two favorites were Lady Windermere's Fan and Guys and Dolls. Guys and Dolls is sheer fun, with great songs, dances,
sets and performances. There were a number of show stoppers, like Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat. I thought Elodie G..."illett could have brought a little more vulnerability to the role of Sarah Brown, but Jenny Wright brought lots of vulnerability to Miss Adelaide, which is sometimes performed too brassily, and all the actors were top notch. We left the theater smiling and singing the songs.
Our overall best experience was at Lady Windermere's Fan. Intriguing plot, which keeps you waiting eagerly to see what will happen next. Wonderful costumes, and very interesting use of the set, for example at times using only parts of the stage for rooms. The acting is so good, it took us a while to realize Kyle Blair in his role as Mr. Graham was the same actor we had already seen playing Sky Masterson. Tara Ros...

"We arrived at McFarland House just after a tour had started, so went instead into their tea room, where we had a very enjoyable lunch. The room has windows across two sides with pleasant views. They have a wide selection of tea, which we had with scones. We also had their soup of the day, a delic..."ious squash soup, Many salads, sandwiches and other items were listed on the menu, and we saw one table enjoying the strawberry and rubarb pie, the special of that day. One can choose to have a full English tea as one of the choices. The waitresses, dressed in costumes, were helpful and explained all the choices, including describing the flavors of several of the tea choices we were considering. Other beverages, such as fresh lemonade, were also on the menu. The atmosphere in the tea room was relaxed and unhurried. We'll return on another visit when we have more time and tour the historic home.

"No, really, you will have to hold your breath when the white water comes over the bow and you are between waves because it'll slap ya again before you can take another breath. We snagged the front row center and it was so much fun! Drenched (used by other reviewers) is an understatement. After our..." first rapid, some weenie* in the back of the boat wanted to be taken back to the dock and the boat was stopped... the guide said sorry, you were warned and away we went to go for more.
*(There is a covered boat ride version also available for weenies)
Best boat ride I think I have ever had!
5+ Can't wait to go back and do this again!!!
