"i have been wanting to take a dip in a clean and nice sea water all this time so i set out on an unexpected journey to a beach south-east of manila with two of my nieces. we took 2 buses,a jeepney and a motor cycle to get to the beaches of laiya in san juan, batangas. the trip going there took us 3 ..."1/2 hours. it was a tiring but exciting trip as well, passing through 2 famous mountains in the south, makiling and banahaw and local scenery on both side of the road. when we reached the end of the road locals call "ugong", i took a glimpse of the sea and wow, i felt the love at once!
seeing the numerous beach resorts and choosing the place where we could stay was quite confusing and disorienting. finally, we found this homey place called, taramindu. the staff were nice and amiable, their restaurant by the sea is lovely and the food taste good and the price is affordable. the sea.....so clear..so calm..clean,warm and welcoming. the yellowish tan beach sand, though not powdery, felt good in t...

"for the last few years i've been hearing about the beaches in laiya so i finally decided to give it a go.....stayed with my family in auatico beach resort...
its a bit pricey...and a small resort....but with polite staff...clean small rooms...due to unavailability of rooms, when we came there...t..."he first night..the four of us have to stay in one room in the second floor...with a sort of balcony overlooking the infinity pool and bar....the toilet/bath room is in the first floor which is annoying specially if one happens to wake up in the middle of the night to pee....
second room is small....even the toilet/bathroom is tiny...my knees are touching the door when im seated in the bowl...
plenty of towel;..free use of white flipflops, with welcome drinks...
the infinity pool is also small ...nice beach....and they comb the beach front in the morning...wifi is not bad.....

"We've been visiting Laiya Beach for more than five years now every year we take time to visit the nearest beach "for me" from Manila, Beaches was with whit sand, not the powdery type, it was just like the broken corals,Its blue clear clean water was very nice for snorkeling, also you can swim with s..."chool of small fishes, it was also nice for taking picture, because most of the beaches have their big corals. you can sit on top of them and let someone take a good picture of you.
