Really interesting and worth a visit if you have a spare hour or two. Audio guide is a must as no / not much written information as you walk around. A bit pricey but good value if you have a rail ticket as 241 entry.

Weekend coach tour had a few hours in Brighton to have a look round. The lanes have a lot of nice independent shops, nice vibe walking around even on a misty Sunday

Great place to visit, lots of independent shops selling all manner of things you won’t find elsewhere. Also lots of coffee shops, bars and eateries. Well worth a visit for a browse.

Looked stunning in the winter sunshine and was great to be able to wander around the pier.

On the wet day it had a fair sized arcade with the usual slot machines and 2p machines etc.

Even though it was winter plenty open to see and do.

Only reason I’m rating it a 4 is because it’s pebbles.
Otherwise great beach easy access and clean even on a busy sunny day.

Great views of Brighton. Quite expensive for the experience as it doesn’t last very long. Expensive bar inside the pod.

Did a 20 mile hike to get here, the mountain itself is only about a mile but it is still a decent trek especially with the steepness. Once up there you get a grande view of all of Brighton and Worthing. The view is beautiful and the peaks of devils dyke look beautiful. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic or date, there’s also a pub both at the bottom of the hill and at the top so you have plenty of places to eat, we didn’t on our trek but it’s there for those who want it.

Beneath the cliffs along the Sussex seafront there are paths to take you alongside the beach.

Within Brighton there are different paths some on the same level as the beach and some are a bit higher.

The ones next to the seafront are well maintained however when I visited in January 2024 one of the paths higher up the cliff was closed.

You get some lovely views of the beach and the surrounding area including the piers and the marina.

Booked this for Dad’s birthday and it was so worth doing! Booking was very straightforward. Our guide was very knowledgeable, relaxed, friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. The tour gives a fantastic insight into all the workings of what is involved in running this fantastic football club and stadium. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great way to spend a couple of hours next time they are in Brighton. Dad loved it, thank you Amex

+1 wanted to go to an aquarium for her birthday. Our local one is rather small so decided to visit Brighton sealife. I’m disabled and they offer a free carer ticket (used my access card with no problem at the entrance)

Good parts: Really lovely displays and lots of information about the animals. Staff were friendly and helpful. +1 loved the rock pool and being up close to the animals

Not so good parts: I use a walking stick to help me walk. The floor in pretty much all of the building is so slippy that my stick kept sliding away from me. I found it hard to enjoy the sealife while worrying about falling over. There’s nowhere to sit and rest apart from in the cafe. The lovely person doing the VR experience could see I was struggling and let me sit down.

Would I go again? Probably not

I had a chicken dansak and Bombay aloo. It was the best I’ve had and I have one quite regularly at various takeouts. The chicken was cooked really well and not dry and the sauce was a great lentil mix of sweet and sour spices. I would recommend this place and they were super friendly.

An interesting set of exhibitions and quite eclectic. I wasn’t too interested in the pottery section but the evolution of England through the ages was fascinating. Also enjoyed the fashion exhibition. The only downside is that none of the audios were working and when we visited three of the exhibitions were closed. We still spent an hour and a half there though.
