"Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-hour canoe up to Eton Dorney and back. Lovely way to see the river. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Glass of bubbly at the end made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended."
"This is the first time I've taken a 6 and 4 year old to any kind of theme park and I'm glad I read up on it in advance!
1. Price - plenty of deals out there (we used Kellogs cereal coupons and paid for both kids and the adults went free). Tesco clubcards can also be exchanged and £12.50 worth of ..."clubcards pays for one person to enter. Southwest trains also do offers for 2 for 1 when you have train tickets
2. Travel / parking - we avoided the queues for the car park by arriving at Windsor station (either is fine) and getting the Legoland bus from the first stop, opposite the theatre. The stops are only a few minutes walk from each other but it was pretty busy so we didn't want to risk not being able to get on board at the second pick up. It cost £10 return for a family of 4 and we needed to be off the train by 9.30 to get to the stop to catch a bus that would arrive in time for the park opening at 10am. There's a timetable online which is worth checking.
There were many benefits...
