"A fascinating place to see. Lovely inside and out. The Audio tour was a bonus and really useful. All staff were very friendly. Spent a few enjoyable hours there. A must see place to visit."

1. Price - plenty of deals out there (we used Kellogs cereal coupons and paid for both kids and the adults went free). Tesco clubcards can also be exchanged and £12.50 worth of ..."clubcards pays for one person to enter. Southwest trains also do offers for 2 for 1 when you have train tickets
2. Travel / parking - we avoided the queues for the car park by arriving at Windsor station (either is fine) and getting the Legoland bus from the first stop, opposite the theatre. The stops are only a few minutes walk from each other but it was pretty busy so we didn't want to risk not being able to get on board at the second pick up. It cost £10 return for a family of 4 and we needed to be off the train by 9.30 to get to the stop to catch a bus that would arrive in time for the park opening at 10am. There's a timetable online which is worth checking.
