Opened in 1993 by Prince Edward, Inverness Floral Hall & Gardens are an oasis of calm and beauty within walking distance of the city centre. With each new season the outside gardens are an explosion of colour and texture, and borders are planted to demonstrate a wide variety of plants and growing conditions. The impressive glasshouses reveal the drama of plant diversity ranging from the tropical rainforests to arid, heat scorched desert.

Bogbain Farm is a private hire venue suitable for weddings, parties and other events! It is also the home of the Inverness Whisky Festival, BrewDog's Brew at the Bog and the Northern Roots Festival. Please note, as of 2011, the farm has been under new management and no longer has a restaurant, pottery studio, children's outdoor activities, farm shop or insect animal sanctuary. We now focus on putting on fantastic barn events!Bogbain is based only 3 miles south of Inverness on the A9. It’s convenient location means access is easy from anywhere in the country, but it also has oodles of Highland charm, and stunning views across the Moray Firth. The venue can cater for 120 guests for a meal and up to 250 for the evening dance. We also have ample space for a marquee outside.Unique features include a saloon bar, a cocktail bar, red-stone cobbled flooring, a Desperate Dan pie stove, an accordion collection, full disabled access and toilet facilities, original stone walls and timber beams, vintage farm machinery and lots of space to have a great time!We are fully licensed for religious and civil ceremonies.

"Just finished a week long cruise in one of Caley Cruisers boats from Inverness to Fort William and back. The boat was clean and we'll fitted and the facilities provided excellent. Our only complaint from the entire trip was the weather which is the only thing that Caley Cruisers could not control.
..."
The scenery along the canals and lochs was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend this holiday for anyone wanting a getaway holiday. The boats are very easy to control and you are given help before you leave by Caley and during your cruise by the numerous very helpful and friendly loch keepers - don't let the thought of steering a boat put you off.

"I always visit this museum when I am in Inverness. There are constantly changing exhibitions in the gallery, which are very varied, so there is always something new to see. This time it was the ancient Egyptians. The permanent museum is also very informative and well laid out and there is a nice lit..."tle cafe and gift shop. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
