Discover magnificent Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, Scotland’s most visited historic house and the home of the Atholl Highlanders, Europe’s only remaining private army. Blair Castle is at the hub of a breathtaking historic landscape most of which was laid out in the 18th century and features a 9 acre walled garden, a peaceful wooded grove, a ruined kirk, a red deer park and a whimsical gothic folly.

"We walked from the town following the signs and it only took about 15 minutes although lots of people were taking their cars and parking closer. There are lots of steps to get to the dam so not suitable for anyone with walking issues. The view is lovely from the top across the loch, the salmon were ..."not leaping in the fish ladder when we were there but I enjoyed seeing how it worked. You are able to walk down the other side of the loch and cross using another bridge which takes you back into Pitlochry. A lovely stroll in the afternoon before heading to one of the many tearooms in the town.

"Just back from doing this tour, got to say I found it first class. Great value at £7.50, you do the tour, try 2 whiskies, and keep the nosing glass. Although I did spend £73.15 in the gift shop :-0 I found the staff friendly and informative, I highly recommend this tour."
"Great view of the Loch after a short walk from the car park. Enjoyed coffee and a delicious cake in the cafe. The staff were very pleasant and the birds were cheeky!"
