Great time at the Smithwicks experience, Christy was an absolute gent and had a great knowledge of the history of the company. Highly recommended for a day in Kilkenny.

We aren't usually guided tour people but we took the guided tour here and it was very good. Our guide was knowlegable and passionate about the Castle which made it even more interesting.

This place was amazing. You must climb the round tower and see the view. You must also tour the inside of the church. Absolutely stunning, so much rich history and the stained glass is breathtaking. The grounds are humbling.

A very interesting place. Make sure you either get an audio guide or book a tour. Also you can get a combined ticket for a walking tour of Kilkenny. Thisis very good value and Johns tour was exceptional. Don’t miss …

One of a kind experience. You’ll walk the property to see ruins of a lost village and see border collies at work. Joe and Shep were amazing.

Really beautiful tranquill place. Highly recommend. The area is lovely and staff amazing. If you like your church history try it out . You'll need a car as a good bit out from city centre.

Our guided tour was excellent with Seán , he had a wealth of knowledge about this house and it's amazing history. The houses and gardens are beautifully restored.

A beautiful abbey of turbulent history which nevertheless transmits serenity and spiritual feelings, with a portentous vitral opened to the South wall

Excellent tour given by the owner. You have to request a tour by email or phone. Can’t wait to ask my local liquor store if they will get their whiskey for me!

My family completed the 2 hours Skywalk ovwe 3 levels. The cost was 25euro each. It was on the pricey side but well worth it in the end. They completed all 3 levels. They were so tired after it!! It is a very well run place and staff are trained to a very high level. Parking over 1 hour costs 4 euro. We will return.

A very surprising visit, with immensely large trees from all over the world, planted 150 yrs ago. For instance you'll fins the largest sequioa tree in Europe. We were amazed by the Noble fir walk and the rhododendrons which were huge. We had no idea what to expect when we entered the garden and the arboretum, but it turned out to be a real secret garden, hidden in the hills above Inistioge. Well worth a visit, €5 entrance and you get to stroll around as long as you like and enjoy the results of the architectural mind of Lady Louisa Tighe from 150yrs ago
