We think the best way to experience Rome is at a slow pace, using all your senses. Sip a cappuccino at one of our favorite cafes, and peek into courtyards as we stroll down winding streets in a few of Rome's most colorful and historic neighborhoods. Eat an assortment of pizza in one of the oldest bakeries in town, followed up with a few things (e.g., salumi, fresh fruit, depending on the day and season) from an open air market. Then we sit down in a local shop that has some of the tastiest cheeses and wines we've found here, have pasta at a historic osteria, and finish up with homemade gelato. Our tours are small (we cap them at 6), and we have an evening one also, that focuses more on wine. Plenty of food in both tours - all food and wine included in the price. We also love the areas we take you through, and will tell you stories about the local traditions, history, and art as we go along. (Beer, Pizza & Grappa Tour coming soon!)
