A trip to Sifnos is not complete unless you visit the main island city of Appolonia. Sitting in the center of the island, there is no beach, but there is a lovely avenue of shops, restaurants, bars and terrace dining areas. For those people looking for original, locally produced island designed jewelry, BLE is a must-visit. Owned and operated by the designer proprietors, this husband and wife shop has original earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, rings and more. Well priced, with loads of originality, any item at BLE is a unique keepsake or aspecial gift. The owners have their workshop on the island with a sweeping view of vistas and sea. This is where they take their inspiration for their jewelry that ranges from edgy to whimsical. Cash or credit card accepted, but paying in cash helps support this local business that is artist owned. The store caries some other select items made by local artisans such as pottery, glass, and shawls.

"It was very nice view especially in the sun set time , we walk down to chrosopigi beach and we discover a new dive center there , and people there are really friendly and wonderful , it was our best experiance under water . I ll back again :) "
"When our taxi first came upon the fishing village it wasn't visible because it
sits along the bay which is just down from the higher main road. Our driver
hadn't been there so accompanied us down the natural stairway to introduce
himself to the owners of the restaurant there. The ride to the vi..."llage was through
the mountains and we even encountered a farmer hearding his sheep across the
road. Once the driver knew we were in good hands he left and we viewed the
fresh catch of the day. We tried the Scorpion Fish which was so delicious. We
hung out at the village and the people there were so nice and told us of the history
of this beautiful place on the northern tip of Sifnos. Not to many people from the United
States visit Sifnos, they are missing a place that will revive their spirit and life.
